Welcome to Until The End. We are a moderate Harry Potter role-playing site set in the Marauder's Era. Our plot is generally derived from details in the book, but as an AU site we do take liberties most anywhere we like. Those who died in the books can have a second chance at living, and those who lived are always at risk.
Tom Marvolo Riddle has long since disappeared and in his stead Lord Voldemort has risen, bringing a small army with him. The Ministry of Magic has thus far ignored the growing menace that is the Death Eaters and Albus Dumbledore has taken it upon himself to defend the wizarding community from an evil he knows is building. War is coming. Pick a side!

~ Character History ~
Diana was eleven years old when she fell in love. His name was Christian Ward, and in the nondescript years that had passed after her mother died, seeing Christian for the first time was life altering. He didn't notice her of course. He was four years older than her and even in his fifth year was getting a reputation as a ladies man. By his seventh year, he put the "Slither In" in Slytherin. But she loved him. He could do no wrong.
After the required seven years of education at Hogwarts, her father arranged a marriage for her.
Before she took her vows however, she saw him again. No less beautiful than before, Diana was putty in Christian's experienced hands. With reckless abandon she spent a week holed up in a hotel room with him, entertaining delusions of grandeur about their inevitable marriage, but he left her just as quickly as he found her in the middle of the night.
His warm memory wasn't all he left. Diana was pregnant.
Her father ordered her to "get it taken care of", but she wouldn't hear of it. He took her wand and sent her away as punishment, but left the details up to his sister Alessa, who sent Diana to a convent.
Diana endured the condescending sisters for seven months until she escaped.
She would have left sooner, but it took four months to find him. Christian was in Bosnia, and she knew he would make everything alright, if only she could reach him. But she didn’t. She wouldn’t.
Flying around the corner, the driver intoxicated, and the horse mad with the brutal sting of his master's lash, the carriage didn’t even slow down before trampling over her. Diana was nothing more than a bump in the road.
When she woke up, she was at St. Mungo's and was no longer pregnant. Her father informed her that she had lost the baby and he was sorry for the part he played. He took her home, but she wasn't the same.
She was resigned never to marry, and never to have any children - much to her father's anger and concern about the family line.
It was that concern that earned Diana a confession on Marcus' death bed. Alyx - Diana's daughter - was alive! Wanting to spare Diana the shame of being an unwed mother, he sent the baby away. He died before Diana could truly hate him.
Revived, she made plans to find her daughter, but wisely kept her investigation a secret from the Board.
The corrupt group of board members - or drinking buddies of her father's - were greedy men, already uncomfortable with the changes Diana had been making when Marcus began to get sick and she took over. They would not have been happy to discover another Crawford in line to inherit.
At this point, they only needed to get rid of one. Diana was chasing a lead in New York, when the hitman attacked. It was by sheer luck that Whistler - a man with more edges than a razor - had been there. He saved her life - grudgingly - and then he taught her how to do the same (even more grudgingly).
As time went on. Diana did what she did best - adapt. Pain, fire, brimstone, hell, she walked through it all with a singular goal in mind: getting to Alyx.
Two years into the insanity and she wouldn't have recognized the woman she had been before. Diana was now a cold, ruthless, machine, with a darker history than most of her assailants.
At her weaker moments, she wondered if finding Alyx was even for the best after the monster she had become. She was at the end of her rope and on the edge of a cliff when she saw him again.
Christian Ward.
It all comes back to him.
She had just returned to the seedy hotel she had been staying at, and there he was. Even more handsome than the young man she had admired so long ago. But she was not the same woman.
She brushed off the encounter until it happened again. Suspicious, she allowed him to take her out only to tie him up and drug him to understand why he had come back in her life. She had every intention of obliviating him, but she let her guard down and he read her mind.
He was not happy at first. Finding out you suddenly have a teenager, is not a pleasant experience, but he took it better than Diana had imagined. Actually, she never could have imagined him allying with her.
Together they fought against the demons of her past, and side by side they eliminated threat after threat. But a larger threat loomed over them. An assassin - the best - had been hired to take Diana out. It was one thing to risk her life, but now she was also risking Christian’s, but she couldn’t stay away from him.
After their "reunion", they wasted no time pawing at one another and barely came up for breath. If they weren't fighting they were shagging and if they weren't shagging they were fighting, in addition to their other fine habits - drinking, killing, smoking, and making breakfast (only Christian, Diana'd burn the house down).
During a "fight" aboard a cruise ship(one of their targets had planned a romantic getaway), they accidentally imbibed on Amorphia ( A cut of Amortentia and Euphoria that causes intense feelings of love and pleasure). That same evening they got married, but in addition to traditional vows, they made an unbreakable vow and created a life bond. Christian vowed to be faithful and Diana vowed to obey, and if one died so would the other - with a small loophole that would allow one party to kill the other and escape the life bond – which wasn’t an option.
Domestic bliss wasn't perfect - particularly the day after - but they were making things work. It was made more complicated when Diana confessed she was pregnant. And more complicated still, when Diana discovered the hitman hired to take her out was none other than her new husband.
Betrayed, Diana shut down. For three days she kept him tied to the bed while verifying that the bond between them could be ended by killing Christian herself. On the third day she was resolute. The stirring of life within her held her hand as the spell nearly left her lips, breaking the calm detachment and letting the feelings wash over her.
After a torrid shag, she knew she’d never be able to kill him, instead – in a rash and illogical Diana fashion – she obliviated him.
Derek - her right hand man, Christian's Friend, and a Burke - handled the details and she made plans to leave the country until Liam was born, but she couldn’t stay away from the man she loved.
Even though the chemistry was still as hot as ever, the obliviated Christian didn’t have an emotional attachment to Diana. And due to the complication of being obliviated he was more than suspicious. Unlike their previous affair, Christian firmly took the reins, imprisoning Diana until he could figure out what to do with her. It was an emotional minefield, but just as they were getting to a good place – after more assassins, a spirit ritual, a jealous wizard and a Dark Lord – Christian discovered another perceived grievance and banished Diana to their recently remodeled home, where she was almost immediately set upon by hired hitmen.
Diana now finds herself in at the mercy of the final board member, very alone, and very pregnant.
