Welcome to Until The End. We are a moderate Harry Potter role-playing site set in the Marauder's Era. Our plot is generally derived from details in the book, but as an AU site we do take liberties most anywhere we like. Those who died in the books can have a second chance at living, and those who lived are always at risk.
Tom Marvolo Riddle has long since disappeared and in his stead Lord Voldemort has risen, bringing a small army with him. The Ministry of Magic has thus far ignored the growing menace that is the Death Eaters and Albus Dumbledore has taken it upon himself to defend the wizarding community from an evil he knows is building. War is coming. Pick a side!

Belle Lunete Deveraux
~ Portrait ~
~ Basics ~
Born: 10th of April, 1953 Age: 22 Alignment: Neutral Occupation: Pack Leader Blood Status: Halfblood House: Beauxbatons Alum Relationship: Betrothed Face Claim: Gonzalez, Eiza
Appearance:
Gorgeous. Tall (Legs for days). Strong and agile muscles which gives her very nice curves. There’s also a wild sensuality about her. Brown eyes, long wavy chestnut locks, and a regal bearing.
~ Personality ~
Patronus: Ironically Belle's patronus is a doe; She can summon her patronus by reliving the moment her pack truly accepted her as Alpha. Mirror of Erised: Bringing peace to the packs standing tall as their leader. Boggart: Bringing peace to the packs, knowing it means marrying a man who terrifies her.
Belle is beautiful. Inside and out. For the most part she’s funny, easy going, and rather laid back, but she has a temper too. She’s also wild. Ferociously independent, although her “parents” tried to tame her. When she became a wolf she became her true self. She’s confident, tough but tender, strong and gentle, and overall a really wonderful leader. She puts the pack first before anything. Her patronus, the doe, represents her fierce protectiveness of the pack as displayed through its caring and inspiring nature. "The doe is also representative of gentleness yet strong determination, and with its high level of intuition and sensitivity, it battles life’s challenges with the utmost grace and vigilance."
Belle Deveraux’s life was a lie. She grew up on a rich estate with Pierre and Marie Deveraux, people whom she assumed were her parents. She grew up relatively happy, pampered, yet restricted. When she was younger she was very independent, yet her parents broke her of such wild thoughts, though they could not tame her completely. She met and fell in love with the boy “next door” or on the neighboring estate rather, and when he was of age he asked for her hand in marriage. It was a very advantageous match for the Deverauxs and Pierre accepted immediately.
That wedding was never to take place. Within a fortnight Belle’s real father arrived. He was enraged that she had been engaged and dragged her kicking and screaming from the estate, nearly killing his distant cousin Pierre for almost starting a war.
The war Aldric had been referring to was between two old and noble wolf packs the Eiriksens and the Deverauxs. For as long as Aldric had been alive, and centuries before that, the two clans had killed and fought one another for territory. The wise woman of the Deveraux clan had a vision that ended in both packs being completely wiped out by war. The only hope for the packs was a blood bond. Aldric had risked much to talk with Eirik, who was convinced by the Deveraux wise woman, as well as weary of war. He had just married his first wife, and she was expecting their babe. For her sake Eirik agreed to unite the packs. They forced marriages throughout the packs, but the real ceremony to bind them together would take place between Eirik’s son and Aldric’s daughter.
While Eirik’s eldest child was believed to be dead, he soon had two other children, both a boy and a girl. Soon after Aldric’s wife produced Belle. It was a difficult birth and the woman died shortly after. In Aldric’s grief, he sent Belle away from the pack, but kept an eye on her from a far.
After being dragged from her life to live with the wolves Belle was despondent. She had loved her fiancé, her “parents”, and her life. Soon however, she realized the freedom being heiress to the Deveraux pack gave her. While she was initially terrified, if not horrified at the prospect of becoming a wolf, she took to it extremely well, as if she were born for it, perhaps because she was.
She soon grew accustomed to her new life, and thrived in the freedom and wildness of her personality that had been tamped down for too long. She even made amends with her father, whom she grew quite close to.
She did try to go back to her “parents”, but only once. They made it clear they were not interested in a relationship with a wolf, and had told her fiancé as well as anyone else that she had died from a horrible disease, since in their eyes, she had.
She never looked back, she feared the same disgust and revulsion from her fiancé so instead she let that Belle Deveraux die, becoming the wolf she was always meant to be.
Her father, realizing his mistake in sending her away, began to teach her all she would need to know to rule their pack one day. He cleverly left out the part where she had been betrothed since birth. He actually grew to love his only child deeply, and selfishly wanted to keep her to himself for a while. The rest of the pack also grew to love and respect her as their future leader.
Aldric then became sick, and upon his death bed she learned the truth of her betrothal. He apologized for keeping her in the dark, but explained that it must be done. Her father died telling her to send for her betrothed, but this was the only thing that Belle could not reconcile herself to. She did not send the messengers.
She was now pack leader, she had to do what was best for her pack. She had heard stories of Aleksander Eiriksen. She didn’t trust him to rule over the packs wisely, additionally she had sacrificed much in becoming pack leader, but she was hesitant to sacrifice her future as well.
