Welcome to Until The End. We are a moderate Harry Potter role-playing site set in the Marauder's Era. Our plot is generally derived from details in the book, but as an AU site we do take liberties most anywhere we like. Those who died in the books can have a second chance at living, and those who lived are always at risk.
Tom Marvolo Riddle has long since disappeared and in his stead Lord Voldemort has risen, bringing a small army with him. The Ministry of Magic has thus far ignored the growing menace that is the Death Eaters and Albus Dumbledore has taken it upon himself to defend the wizarding community from an evil he knows is building. War is coming. Pick a side!

Red Squirrel Playing in his first quidditch game as the Hufflepuff Keeper
Dominick would see himself in the mirror, standing in the announcer's booth at the Quidditch World Cup as a professional commentator
His parents home under a Dark Mark
Dominick is intelligent, charming, and funny. He will stand up for what is right no matter who tries to beat him down. He is likable and makes friends easily. He is fiercely loyal and protective of those he loves. He is a huge fan of muggle football (Americans read: soccer) which his grandad introduced him to when he was younger, though he doesn’t bother admitting this to most wizards, as he finds the explanation of the game too complicated. Seeing his interest in sports, Dom’s dad was excited to take him to his first quidditch match at age 8. Since then, Dominick has been obsessed with quidditch, and although he’s not a spectacular player, he has joined the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
Dominick does everything to the extreme; he loves hard, with little reservation (which lead to many a broken heart), and certainly wears his heart of his sleeve. He fights until he can’t anymore but doesn’t have a hard time admitting when he is wrong. His blatant disregard for potential danger makes him a bit of a thrill seeker. He finds humor in most any situation and uses it to his advantage. He has a need to make others laugh and is the epitome of a class clown. There’s no joke too dumb and no pun too punderful for Dominick.
History
Mother: Margaret Montague (39) Father: Rhys Montague (40) Sibling: Xander Montague (14)
Dominick Montague was the first-born child to Rhys and Margaret Montague in a small town south of London. Three years later, his little brother Xander was born. The boys had a happy childhood together, learning about both the muggle and wizarding culture as they and their parents are all halfbloods. Rhys’ mum, Dom’s grandmum, is a muggle who married a muggleborn wizard. Rhys obviously took after his father’s magical abilities. Both of Margaret’s parents were muggleborn, but sadly they both passed on when Margaret was still at Hogwarts. Neither Dominick nor Xander ever met their maternal grandparents, but they enjoy spending summer holidays with their paternal grandparents, going to the muggle cinema and playing football in a muggle youth league.
The Montague’s childhood was relatively unremarkable. They attended a muggle primary school near their home and had friends in both communities. Dominick received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts the same summer he turned eleven, and by that September he had been sorted promptly into Hufflepuff. The Sorting Hat barely had to think about it at all. Dom was excited; his mum had been in Hufflepuff (his dad had been in Slytherin).
Dom’s mother is an artist of sorts, and an exquisite musician - a skill she passed down to her son. Dominick can play the piano and the guitar. Dom insists he can play the bagpipes too, but his family has a sneaking suspicion that he knows how bad he is and is just trying to play a very long, elaborate prank on the family. He never tried to play the bagpipes for his friends; a telltale sign that he knew he was no good. Dominick’s father is an electrician at a muggle company, despite being a wizard. Rhys’ father had been an electrician as well, as had Rhys’ grandad. Rhys wouldn’t mind is Dominick or Xander wanted to follow in their father’s footsteps, but he understands that Dominick has very different aspirations.
Since he was a young boy, Dominick has always shown an interest in two things; comedy and sports. His mum would prefer him with comedy, as it is a performance profession and Dom’s less likely to be knocked off a broom if he’s doing stand up in a comedy club. His father, however, is rooting for his son to be a famous quidditch player – despite being well aware that Dominick is not the best player on the team, but he was good enough to make the house team in his fifth year at Hogwarts.
Dominick is well liked in Hogwarts and makes friends with everyone he can. He doesn’t see the point of house rivalries, aside from in sports, and doesn’t mind hanging out with anyone from any house, so long as they’re pleasant. He tried out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team in his fifth year and plays as the Keeper (thanks to his goalie training in football). He likes to share his collection of muggle comic books with his mates and goof off between classes (and sometimes during lessons as well). He is intelligent and generally gets good marks but his class-clown tendencies can get him into trouble. He has wound up in detention a number of times, but never for anything serious.
