Welcome to Until The End. We are a moderate Harry Potter role-playing site set in the Marauder's Era. Our plot is generally derived from details in the book, but as an AU site we do take liberties most anywhere we like. Those who died in the books can have a second chance at living, and those who lived are always at risk.
Tom Marvolo Riddle has long since disappeared and in his stead Lord Voldemort has risen, bringing a small army with him. The Ministry of Magic has thus far ignored the growing menace that is the Death Eaters and Albus Dumbledore has taken it upon himself to defend the wizarding community from an evil he knows is building. War is coming. Pick a side!

*Coming Soon* - Summer Solstice Carnival
Travel by portkey to the biggest summer celebration in wizard society - The Summer Solstice Carnival! There will be food, games, prizes, fun and more!
Martha is one of those people that is very likeable in personality. She's got a vibrant aura to her that invites people in - she's open and friendly and has the sort of confidence that inspires others. The problem is, her big mouth has a mind of its own (one of these days it's gonna talk itself right off her face) and she tends to say what comes to mind when it comes to mind - with no forethought whatsoever.
Part of the reason her mouth works separately to her brain is because of the incredible pace her thoughts move at. She has a very busy brain, so there's constantly thoughts zipping back and forth, and it's hard to pick just one (as a result, she tends to talk fast so that she can get through all her ideas before she forgets them). Similar to the reason she always has to be doing something. She's constantly got energy to spare and enjoys rushes of adrenaline.
She's also rather particular - as a perfectionist she's an all or nothing kind of girl. As such, she ends up being unintentionally controlling. She's kind of bossy (and resents the red hair jokes that come with that, she loathes the whole 'feisty redhead' stereotype because she knows she absolutely fits it) and has been since she was young. The perfectionist side of her carries into her schoolwork, too. She wants it to be perfect, and if she doesn't think it's starting out already perfect, which is, naturally, most of the time, she'll just ignore the project until she absolutely has to finish it.
Despite this, she does make friends relatively easily, and once she's made a good friend, she's incredibly loyal and protective of them. She's protective of people in general too - just not quite as much as she might be over her friend's - and is, in principle, utterly against bullies. But then, if there's someone she strongly dislikes, then she's rather likely to let the bullying slide. Or even join it - though in that case, she wouldn't call it bullying, but probably 'justice'.
Unfortunately, Martha's talent for friendship does not carry over to romantic relationships. She's great at flings and enjoys dating, but she's got some commitment issues in terms of finding love that runs deeper than a heightened teenage libido. The longest she's ever dated someone for was approximately five weeks. It might have something to do with her vague fear that she'll never find love because literally all the woman on her father's side of the family have been spinsters, and so she's kind of afraid of romantic love in general. So basically, Martha's in it for the fun, not the relationship, and she has enough of a reputation that people should know what they're getting into. Despite her lack of commitment for romantic relationships, she's totally into regular flings.
Martha's a massive risk taker. She enjoys the rush of diving into the unknown and general adventure. Her creativity mixed with this makes for an excellent pranking mind and makes her great at Quidditch. Unfortunately, it's not so good in school, and she's often ending up in detention.

Hey!!
So I can easily see James and Martha plotting well together! They are both in the same house and year and on the quidditch team together. They both say what’s on their mind, they both spend a lot of time in detention and they both have a lot of flings.
Yeah, I can definitely see these two getting along well - Martha could definitely be a co-prankster with the Marauders as well as a general prank rival (I could see her accidentally-on-purpose starting a prank war between the girls' and boys' dorms). Plus Quidditch, of course! This'll be their third year together on the team so that'll be fun.
Danger? I laugh in the face of danger. Hahahahaha.

Oh Boy here we go!
Christine Aine Sayre - She's the best bet out of all my characters to interact with Martha. She's a chaser on the Quidditch team and is also in Gryffindor. She's two years ahead of Martha, but she is really social. Diana Marie Ward - She has a long lost daughter that attends Hogwarts. There's a want ad out for her, but that's the only way that I could see these two interacting. Derek Auberon Burke - My beautiful DE. He also owns apartment buildings and sometimes works at his family's shop. Belle Deveraux - Don't see much interaction here, possibly in the future when we have a Remus if he has friends and somehow the packs are exposed (She's my werewolf). Nicholas Evander Malfoy - Possibly? Through Christine maybe, but he's fairly distant to people who aren't in his "inner circle". He's cordial enough though. Julian Taranis Faust - Ditto with Nicholas. Lex Camilla Eiriksen - Hopefully not! Unless Martha gets in trouble with the law. Lex is my Auror. Elara Sayre - Probably. They're in the same year, but opposite houses, but most people buy Emara's Mary Sunshine act. She's "that nice girl who you wouldn't believe is in Slytherin". She's also Christine's cousin. Andromeda Caecilia Tonks - Possibly if Martha was interested in healing. Andromeda is a healer at St. Mungos so something could happen later on.

James Henry Potter & @martha — definitely lots of fun there! A prank war sounds epic! It would be more epic if we had more mauraders lol but still epic! And yay for quidditch! Did you want to start a thread? Maybe they get together over the summer to practice quidditch or something?

Hello and welcome aboard!
So I have a couple of people....
Olivia Anne Fawley -- She's my Ravenclaw, 7th year. Since they're both outgoing young women, I'm sure they've crossed paths. Olivia hasn't always made the best decisions, but we're trying to improve that now. Open to however you think they would get along. Edgar Nolan Bones -- He's an Auror, but goes back to Hogwarts each year to speak with the DADA 4th years about becoming Aurors. Nice easygoing guy and would be happy to answer any questions about the job field. Apollo Évaritse Giouard -- Another Auror (I apparently have a thing), but he's American. He's also Christine's uncle and a little rough around the edges, but overall decent guy. Not sure how they'd cross paths, but I'm open to ideas. Any chance to use some (probably messy) Cajun French is fine by me.
In the hopefully near future, I'll have a 7th year Slytherin boy named Evan Byron Rosier . He's got the whole pureblood image to maintain, but he's not the worst of the group. Martha is a pureblood, which is a plus, but I think it will depend on how vocal she is about muggle/muggleborn thing.

Dominick Rhys Montague & @martha -- He's my only student (for now) but I think he would like Martha. She's younger than he is and in a different house, so I'm not sure how much time they would have spent together aside from on the quidditch pitch.
Dominick is a ray of sunshine and Martha would absolutely adore him, despite their gap in years and house. Martha tends to gravitate towards people who are friendly and sociable so it wouldn't surprise me if she'd already weaselled her way into his life at school - through Quidditch, even. I'd love for these two to interact. Maybe they could run into each other during the break - or Martha could even have owled him to hang out?

Sounds good between Olivia and Martha. I'm sure Olivia has been confused for the Fawley pureblood line once or twice in the past (and then have to explain, "No, I'm from the other family branch."). Perhaps they can run into each other some time this summer when Olivia isn't at her summer job.
Same thing with Edgar and Apollo. Should they cross paths (or the interest strikes), they can chat about the job.
I'll get back to you about Evan once Vixn has caught up and he gets approved.
Let me know if you want to get a thread started with anyone and I can get something together!
