Welcome to Until The End. We are a moderate Harry Potter role-playing site set in the Marauder's Era. Our plot is generally derived from details in the book, but as an AU site we do take liberties most anywhere we like. Those who died in the books can have a second chance at living, and those who lived are always at risk.
Tom Marvolo Riddle has long since disappeared and in his stead Lord Voldemort has risen, bringing a small army with him. The Ministry of Magic has thus far ignored the growing menace that is the Death Eaters and Albus Dumbledore has taken it upon himself to defend the wizarding community from an evil he knows is building. War is coming. Pick a side!

[break] [break] Castle Eire is located on a private island just off the coast of Kilkieran. The island is technically the largest of the Aran Islands, but it has a centuries old unplottability charm hiding it from muggles and maps. The only way to access Castle Eire is through magical means, and typically requires a Sayre descendent or charmed object, though that is not always the case.[break][break]
[break] [break] The main gate is used for visitors. Unless you are a Sayre or have an enchanted object, this is the safest entry to the estate. The entrance passes through the Enchanted Foregrounds. These grounds can change depending on the occasion. Originally installed as a Forever Maze as a defense against unwanted visitors, Aedan had been using it as a golf course before his death. During large events it has been used as a decorated pathway or an enchanted hedgemaze. There are four main gardens at Castle Eire: the Terraced Gardens, Carpet Garden, Sunken Garden, and Lady Eirenne's Walled Garden, each with their own charms.[break][break]
[break] [break] Castle Eire houses a fine equestrian establishment for all types of legal mounts. Primarily Aethonans and Thoroughbreds, however there is a growing collection of Granians belonging to Seamus Sayre. There is also a aviary that specializes in the training of both falcons and owls, but houses a few other breeds as well. Behind the castle is a direct landing area for Sayre descendents or those who have an enchanted object. [break][break]
[break] [break] Just beyond the Equestrian Centre is a wooded area that acts as a very small preserve for both magical and muggle creatures. Beyond the castle walls is a an expansive forest with far more dangerous creatures than those in the woods. The escape tunnels lead just in front of the forest. It is said that their famous ancestor Morrigan herself, negotiated a peace between the Sayre kin and the creatures of the forest, but it's been many years since a Sayre has tested that peace. For the most part it's best to keep away.[break][break]
[break] [break] In addition to Castle Eire there is a small village on the island. The villagers are primarily artisans and farmers. They live apart from the rest of the world both muggle and magical and prefer a simpler way of life, but they are the finest in their fields for crafting. The Sayres have always supported the village and have offered protection from outside forces that would exploit their talents or threaten their lifestyle.
[break] [break] Castle Eire has a modest library more for show than anything else as the real Sayre collection is housed in a vault in Gringotts and is accessable through an enchanted set of books in Aedan's study.
